F/T Araho
Built at Eastern Shipbuilding in Panama City, Florida, Araho (194’/59m) fishes for groundfish in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands. The vessel design has a highly efficient hull shape which reduces resistance moving through the water and increases fuel efficiency. The hull is Det Norske Veritas (DNV) ICE 1B designed which allows her to fish in the ice. The accommodation and interior outfitting is designed for 54 persons, excluding the hospital, and is completely insulated for the harsh working environment.
